Easter Eggs

This was Sarah's first year helping color the eggs. I think she really enjoyed it and was much more patient to wait for her turn than the big girls.  

 Sissy likes to hang out with us and she likes to get in on the action when we have family time.

She had a rough Friday night, so I like that she stays close by, so I can keep an eye on her.

 Sarah moved around to try and get a hold of some of the eggs, but it didn't work.

We have lot's of fun and I think the girls would paint a few dozen if we let them.

 I wanted to take a picture of the girls with their baskets full of goodies but they were more interested in the goodies, so no one was looking at me.

 We had a fun afternoon.

Egg hunt, face painting, cookies/cupcakes and a craft.

Spring Flowers

I think I'm going to buy more of this ground cover that has the beautiful purple flowers. I was looking for something to plant on the side of the house that was low maintenance and could cover up small weeds.

I love the flowers and then after spring it will be a nice green plant to fill in between the sidewalk and house.

Spring Break Recap

It felt like spring break lasted a long time, but last night as I was getting things ready for school for the girls, it felt like it went way too fast.
We kinda started spring break early with a visit from my parents, but the girls only had last week off of school and gymnastics.
We had a great spring break week and did lot's of fun things.
Monday....swimming and walk around a pond.
Tuesday....doctor appt and grocery shopping (the boring day).
Wednesday....Boonshoft museum.
Thursday.....purchased Alvin and the Chipmunks, Chipwrecked.  We watch the movie and ate lunchables.
Friday....swimming and watched the new movie again.
Saturday....birthday party attended by Jenna.  Rob and Meghan had a little date at the ice cream shop.
Sunday.....Church and new Monster High dolls.
I really enjoy when the big girls are off of school (and not fighting).  I find if I keep us all busy the fighting is less and we all have a more enjoyable time.
Today is back to school, gymnastics and normal routine.  

Hand-me-downs

If I had known way back when that I would have had another little lady, I would have saved all the clothes from Meghan and Jenna.   When I did decide we would add to the family, I started saving some of the girls clothes...just in case we would have another girl.

I pulled this outfit out the other day and thought since Sarah as tall and this outfit had shrunk it might fit her.

Jenna was 3 turning 4 when she got this outfit!

I love seeing Sarah in it.

my view

So I guess I did get a picture of Dad during there visit this time.  He was napping on the futon while Jenna played in the Florida room when I took this picture. 

I see toys everywhere in most of these pictures....it drives me crazy and I try to keep up with it, but sometimes it takes over and I just have to live with it (until I can clean it up). 

I am constantly on the move trying to stay ahead of the play messes. I don't mind the girls playing and making the messes but I can't just sit and look at it.

The girls know  I can't stand the mess and they are kind enough to not get in my way when I'm cleaning it up!haha

Sarah loves Jenna's room and all the things she can get into in it.

Memom and baby girl

I didn't take many pictures during Memom and Papa's visit.
