Girls' room

I'm showing off my 4 and 6 year old girls' bedroom/playroom.  I was going to clean it up and pretend they never mess it up, but then that wouldn't be what it looks like on a daily basis.  We just recently moved the girls' beds into this room.  We are trying to make room for the baby (I know we have a while to wait..but I like to get started on things early), so we decided the girls would not have two rooms.  They were sleeping in another room and the large room was their playroom.   They love this new arrangement and didn't have trouble getting rid of a few toys either.

From the look of the toy side of the room, it looks like they could get rid of a few more things and probably not miss them!

This side has been messed up by Jenna and a friend.  But this is pretty much what it looks like anyway. My girls love dolls and barbies and all things girly!

 I am showing one small picture of the bathroom to show you how small the bathroom is.  It is the perfect size for two little girls and the bath tub is pretty big (deep).  

First baby picture

I am able to post pictures of baby #3 early!!!  I had some minor problems occur this weekend, so I spent 7 hours in the ER making sure all was ok.  I was not under the care of the ER for 7 hours either.....5 hours was just waiting for them to see me.   Not really sure why it took so long...there were five people ahead of me and they waited all day too.  We not only saw the baby...but we saw the heart beating too!!  Very exciting and a huge relief to see.  Meghan and Jenna still have the idea I could be having two little girls for them...even after they looked at the picture of just one in me.  

We also moved the girls into the playroom this weekend..so they no longer have two rooms. We are making the third bedroom the baby room/craft room.  The girls and I have been cleaning out and I am so happy to see a clean house! I will post pictures of their room after I have finished the clean up.

Banham Zoo

I went to the Zoo on Friday with Lakenheath's Kindergarten classes. There was over 100 children and enough parents and teachers to watch all the kiddos!   It was about an hour drive to the Zoo and with being pregnant, that was the hardest part of the trip for me:)  My group had five kids and four adults and we had so much fun. We saw so many cool animals and a birds of prey demonstration (included a Parrot, hawks and a Bald Eagle). We saw animals from A to Z!!

8 weeks

I was going to hold off and post this picture after I have my first doctor appointment but I haven't blogged in a while, so I decided to show it!   I am 8 weeks 3 days pregnant and finally feel "normal" again.  By normal I mean not starving all day and then feeling sick because I'm starving. I was feeling like I hadn't eaten all day when I was eating almost every hour (not much but a little something).  This pregnancy is much different than when I was pregnant with the girls. Some people say..."oh it's a boy...or it's twins"....well I think I feel this way because I am the mother of two very active little girls and I keep very busy. I have started slowing down and Jenna sat on the couch today while I took a 45 minute cat nap!   The question asked most is.....what do the girls think of having a baby??.....well I'll tell you.....they think it is the coolest thing in the world. Meghan will get up in the morning and wants to hug my tummy and tell the baby she loves them....I did say them.  Meghan keeps telling me she really wants us to have two little girls...one for her and one for Jenna!!!   Meghan has also decided the baby can sleep with her and she will help change the diapers too.  Jenna is excited and she asks a lot of the technical questions...like how the baby is growing and how is it going to get out!!   I'm trying to be as honest and up front about having a baby, but leaving out details a 4 and 6 year old don't need to hear.   Meghan and Jenna are going to be two of the best big sisters to the new baby!!   

I have my first appointment on June 1!!!  I will post the ultrasound picture and details from the appointment.  As of my calculations my due date is December 27 and if this baby is like the girls...I hope to have the baby a week or two before Christmas (kinda out of my hands)!!

My picture looks like a mug shot...but I took two pictures and the other picture has Rob's toes in it!!  So...this is the picture I'm posting.  I am showing a little, but I'm on number three!!!

I never got around to showing some pictures from Mildenhall (these were taken when Mom and Dad were here). I wanted to share these because I think I needed to see that it can actually get sunny and a little warm here. Since Mom and Dad left, the nice weather left with them...

We watched this family of ducks for a little while. They were run off by some older ducks.

I haven't blogged in a while and said too much about us. I  have showed pictures from our living room and pictures from when Mom and Dad visited, but not much chatting about us.

I have been a little under the weather with this pregnancy and will hopefully start feeling better in a few weeks. I don't expect to feel wonderful and  100% all the time, but I have not experienced morning sickness before, so this is hard on me. I stay so busy with the girls and Rob, I think I just need to start slowing down even more. I have already started showing, which makes a few friends think I might be having twins...but we will see in a few weeks at my first OB appointment. 

The girls are busy with end of school year activities and looking forward to a few months off from school.  Meghan is reading small books and is getting more comfortable with starting new books.  Jenna is learning "sight words" and enjoying doing dot-to-dot!   

We enjoyed a small Medieval Fayre on Mother's day in a small town named Snailwell. The girls both practiced shooting bows from a cross bow and we enjoyed watching some horses and sword fighting.   The girls also enjoyed some Candy Floss (cotton candy) and ice cream.

I was going to include a few pictures in this post but my iphoto was thinking too long yesterday and I'm too lazy today to try it again!

I love reading and checking out Kelly's Korner's blog and last week my kitchen was way too messy to show off to the world.  I'm showing off my living room to show how much stuff you can put in a small English house. I'm a neighbor of Angie's (Lingar Lowdown) but I don't live in a converted barn.  If I did, I would have much more room.  I live in an average size British house and I have American size furniture!

More Windsor pictures

Windsor Castle

We took Mom and Dad to Windsor Castle last Wednesday and it was another beautiful day!  (as I type this I'm missing some warm sunny weather.  Mom and Dad must have brought the sunshine with them and took it back today;)

We all really enjoyed Windsor Castle and I worked our trip out so the queen wasn't there. When she is there you can not visit the staterooms and that would take away from the whole experience.  We couldn't take pictures inside the staterooms or St. George's chapel and I wish we could have....they were both awesome to see.  The most interesting part was in the chapel and I learned there was a large vault under the chapel with the remains of many many royalty. There were stones all over the chapel in memory of.....and large above ground vaults too!  Very cool to see.
