I found a tiny green sham rock. It was small and veay soft. I want to sho my Mom and she said I am lucky. I said to my self I tink it is magical. So I wished to have a dog and my Mom said to me we have a dog. I no I made a wish. haw! I thot it was magical and it was. You are so lucky. The End.

My Magic Boots~~ written by Meghan

~This is a story Meghan brought home from school the other day. I thought we would share it because it was well written and is super sweet. I think you can guess she misses England:) Oh, I did not change the spelling or grammar in the story...this is her writing. Enjoy!

One time I went on a walk. I saw a old dump and I saw a pair of boots!

Later that day I found out that they were magic boots. At first I got the boots because they looked new and shiny, but to-my-surprise they were magic boots that would take me anywhere.

I used to live in England. I missed England so much my magic boots took me back there! I got soaked in the rain with my sister Jenna! I also got to go with Jenna to jump on the trampoline. We were with our friends Emma, Michael, Rebecca, Sam and Jule. They were brothers and sisters and they were our next door neighbors, when we lived in England. Our other next door neighbors Kristy and Ryan have a dog named Nessy who could give high fives. They also had a cat named Cheetah. I wish my dog Sissy was with me and then Nessy and Sissy could be friends. My other friends across the street were Morgan and Mikey. They have a dog named Mocha. Morgan has a mouse and Mikey has two bearded dragons. One is a girl and one is a boy. I had a great time just now in England with my magic boots!

Next, I am going to the moon!

Today is my 15th wedding anniversary!

15 years ago today it was a Saturday and a beautiful spring day. I was about to marry the love of my life and start an awesome adventure. I have a not so good memory for lot's of things, but I can remember this day like it was yesterday. I can almost smell the daisy's.

Looking back it seems like yesterday....yet at the same time feels like a lifetime ago. So much has happened since then......Rob was in the military, out and in college....back in the military and out for the last time (we think). I just finished college and was starting the job search. Worked for 6 years 8 months for the prisons system in NC...and then when Rob returned to active duty, I was able to be a stay at home mom. Three beautiful little girls have entered our lives. We "picked" them up along our journey. Oldest from NC, second from CA and youngest from the UK!

We have lived in 3 states and two countries and owned way too many cars/trucks and bikes!

Today is also Sarah's 15th month birthday!

15 months ago on a cold, snowy Wednesday in the UK I delivered my beautiful little busy-body Sarah.

Sarah is around 20lbs and still wears size 3 diapers. She is in 12-18 month clothes.

Sarah talks all the time and I love to hear her call for her big sisters. She has a very strong personality.

Sarah knows so many words and it seems every day a new one is added to her vocabulary.

Sarah can tell you where her eyes, nose, teeth, mouth, checks, ears...and toes are.

She likes to throw her dirty diapers away for you too.

Favorite things to do...besides get into EVERYTHING...she loves to dance, look at books and play with her sisters.

Sarah has also started going to the kitchen and hitting the pantry door when she is hungry. She hits the door and says, cracker.

Sarah normally takes one nap and sleeps really well at night. She is an early bird and does not like to lay around in her crib, she starts calling out for all of us. If I don't go get her pretty quick, she wakes up Jenna.

Sarah has three teeth that have broken through the gums with two more on top almost through.

It feels like she is growing up way too fast:)

All good things come to an end

Or in the case, get cut off.

Just wanted a picture of the "removal" stage of the beard.

So it all didn't actually get cut off.

The girls actually acted upset that he was cutting off the beard, but got over it really quick. They do say they like the full beard over the goatee. I think I like the goatee better and the gas station cashier agrees with me:)

What's for dinner?

This is the first time I let Sarah feed herself her spaghetti.

She started out slow and I had to help her with her spork, because she wasn't using her hands at first.

Then she got a little on her hands....and it must feel really cool to squash the noodles and sauce in her hands.

And the rest is history......all over her face.

Drew

Mom and Dad are the best!

They drove Drew down this weekend to see us.

The big girls and I haven't seen him since the summer of 2008 and Rob hasn't seen him since 2006 (I think). This was his first time meeting Sarah....and it was love at first sight for both of them!

The girls loved the quick visit from their Memom, Papa and Drew!!

Little miss loves to pull everything out of the cabinets in the kitchen and drop it through out the house!Ha

I was trying to get her to say cheese, but she decided she needed to get her hands on the camera.

1 month since.....

......Rob's last shave.

WOW, it seems like this month has just flown by...and in that time

his facial hair has been growing and growing.

I really thought this was something he was doing just for fun,

but it looks like he enjoys having a beard.

I guess we will be seeing this "style" for a while.

Wacky Wednesday

Today is Dr. Seuss' birthday! To celebrate, the girls' school is having Wacky Wednesday.

The kids were told to dress wacky!

Thing 1 and Thing 2 were so excited to dress wacky...but when they were dressed they looked like outfits they would normally wear on the weekends/school breaks. haha

The last two pictures show that Thing 3 was not happy about stopping for a picture.

(I do not normally call the girls Thing 1, 2 and 3...but I thought is fit perfect on Seuss' birthday)
