6 months old

Sarah is 6 months old (as of yesterday)
She is a busy little girl....

She decided to grab the camera while I was trying to take her picture.

Sarah has her 6 month check up in early July, so I will update her stats after that appointment.
Sarah is still nursing every 3 hours during the day...but can go 4 hours some days.
She is eating breakfast and dinner too. She can almost sit on her own....she is still a little top heavy.
Sarah can pick up small pieces of food and put them in her mouth.....she is serious about eating.
Sarah can sleep through the night. We have started a new schedule of 8pm-5am. She nurses and then goes back to sleep until 7 or 8am.
She loves to play on the floor and in the exersaucer. She also loves her two big sisters to play with her.
She has a lot to say and is very vocal when she wants something. She loves to be held and she gives hugs and kisses.
Sarah still wears 6-9 month clothes and size 2 diapers.
Sarah is trying to crawl and stand.
So many more things are going on in her little life. She is a sweet baby girl and laughs and smiles all the time.

6 years old

Happy Birthday to my sweet Jenna!

Her new lunch bag!!
Until school starts she will keep a few American doll clothes in it. hehe

6 years
Jenna can read, write, count, roller skate, ice skate, ride a two wheel bike, sing, dance, dress herself, help others, make new friends easy, swim, pull her own loose tooth out, give some of the best hugs and kisses, laugh, play pretend, help with her baby sister, play with her older sister....and the list could go on and on....it's the small things in life that mean the most. I can't wait to see what the future holds for my beautiful, sweet lovable, sassy girl.

Bye bye Lakenheath

Bye bye teachers/staff

The last few buses leaving on the last day of school.

Saying goodbye to people and places is hard to do......this is where my two big girls started school.
We will miss the staff and will hold dear all the great memories we had at LES.

Summer vacation

Well, tomorrow at 1101 summer vacation will start for my two older girls!! Rob and I went to the school this morning to have a pancake breakfast and awards ceremony for Jenna's class. I can't believe I will have a first and second grader next year. Time is flying by and I'm trying to enjoy each and every moment of it.
Meghan and Jenna both love school and we will be working hard to keep up their studies this summer. I want them to be ahead of what is expected of them because I think that will help with having a new school and new friends this coming school year.
I think I have already written about Ms. Shelton....but I have to say I couldn't have picked a better teacher for my girls. I love that Meghan and Jenna both had her for Kindergarten and she is an awesome teacher. I only hope that Sarah will have a teacher as good as Ms. S when she starts school.

West Stow

We headed to West Stow on Sunday and enjoyed a beautiful day out.
Rob and I have been to this park but we thought the girls would enjoy it because there is a kids play area and the trails.
I carried Sarah in my Moby baby sling and she loved it. I turned her around so she was facing out on some of the walk and she really enjoyed it. She is a great little traveler and I hope it stays that way.

Jenna's birthday party

My birthday girl...well birthday party girl!
We had Jenna's birthday party a little early this year. We wanted to make sure some of her school friends would be able to make it. As soon as school gets out lots of moving and traveling start. We actually missed a few friends because they were flying back to the states for their next adventure.

Jenna had so much fun roller skating with her friends.

Singing happy birthday to Jenna :) She wanted a monkey theme birthday party, so I made some cute cupcakes to go with the monkey theme.

Ryan and Rob resting.

Meghan had so much fun at the party.
She was skating on roller blades at the party and is pretty good at it.

Baby girl had fun too. She enjoyed watching everyone and even let a few people hold her.

Hatfield house

In the gardens of Hatfield house and Palace

Hatfield Palace.....Queen Elizabeth I lived much of her childhood here and was walking in the gardens when she was told her sister (Bloody Mary) had passed and she was the Queen of England. Elizabeth was 25.

The gardens were beautiful!

This is Hatfield house. It was built after Elizabeth passed away. Some of the building material used in building this house came from the old palace (the house in my other pictures).
I love all the history this little country has to offer.

Packing....part one

I put the title as part one because this was only the main household goods being shipped. We still are living in our house and have things with us...just not much. Living like this kinda lets me realize what we need over what we want.
We had two really nice mover/packer guys. I always enjoy hearing their stories.
They said they went into a house on Lakenheath and the house was so dirty they called TMO and had them come out because they are refusing to pack the house. When the TMO officer showed up the lady at the house started screaming, "don't take my baby". The guys said the house was so dirty and the kids bedroom had a mattress on the floor and it was soaked with urine......so sad that babies/kids have to live in places like that.

The truck arrived and the guys were busy inside packing.

Guy number 1......packing the master bedroom.

guy number 2....no he didn't pose for me. This shot just happened this way!haha
He was bending down to wrap the dresser.

Sarah and I were just hanging out and watching all the action. Sarah didn't take a good nap on the first day...she was making sure our furniture was being packed well!ha

Meghan and Jenna's bedroom...all packed and ready
(they put the mattresses in boxes before loading in the crate).

The girls all hanging out in Sarah's room while the guys finished up day one.

Cheese:)

Day two....loading the crates.

Packing it in like a puzzle.

This last picture is with our loaner furniture...aka...stick furniture. The base lets us borrow it for up to 90 days. The TV and toys are ours.
