Wacky Wednesday

Today is Dr. Seuss' birthday! To celebrate, the girls' school is having Wacky Wednesday.

The kids were told to dress wacky!

Thing 1 and Thing 2 were so excited to dress wacky...but when they were dressed they looked like outfits they would normally wear on the weekends/school breaks. haha

The last two pictures show that Thing 3 was not happy about stopping for a picture.

(I do not normally call the girls Thing 1, 2 and 3...but I thought is fit perfect on Seuss' birthday)

Sarah walking

Sarah officially started walking the beginning of February. This is a little video of her walking around the playroom.

She shoots....SHE SCORES!!

Jenna made her first basket during the game today! She was so excited about it, but didn't let us make a big deal about it after the game.

She is a good little b-ball player.

She wasn't into the game today as her normal self.....she bruised her butt bone the other day at school. Short story....she went to sit on the rug during circle time and her bottom hit the corner of a desk:( I feel so bad because there isn't much to do for it, but let it heal. I did give her some motrin and an ice pack after the game today.

The orange team won today...14-10:) So proud of all the kiddos on the team. I have really enjoyed watching them all improve and play the game this year. We only have two games left in the season. I think I might miss seeing them play just as much as Jenna will miss playing with the team.

14 months and dress up

Growing up way too fast!

Meghan decided to dress up tonight, Jenna joined in and before long the big girls had Sarah all dressed up too!

I love that they included Sarah and it looked like she was having just as much fun as they were.

Sarah is 14 months old and from this picture, you can see it is hard to get her to sit still for a picture (or should I say look at you for the picture).

She is one busy little lady. She finally started walking earlier this month (just like her Dad predicted!).

Sarah does a lot of talking and a little too much screaming along with it.

She loves to scream out Mama....all the time!! I love the sound of it and it never gets old.

Sarah is in size 3 diapers and 12-18 months clothes.

She still ONLY has 2 teeth...but the top gum has a lot of bumps, so we are expecting to see some new teeth soon.

Having two teeth does not stop her from eating all things edible (and trying a few not so edible things).

Just yesterday we were asking for the dog food she was trying to eat. She spit it right out (must not have been good).

She is a lovable little lady and loves to walk all over and get into any and everything she can.

She still loves to eat and is eating everything we eat ....no more baby food in the house!

Most recently she has started picking up the play phones and say "yah"!

She is sleeping so much better at night (she is actually sleeping all night from 730pm-6am-ish).

Life with a toddler is exhausting but so much fun!

day 12....

Since Rob's last shave.

This is what civilian life looks like for him.

It is pretty even all around...but this last picture makes this side look thicker.

We started today off with a basketball game. Jenna's team did well and won today. They seem to be out of their groove...but did pull off a win. She is really getting good at it and loves it. She doesn't seem to mind if they win or loose...just as long as she can get her hands on the ball during the game.

Next up.....washing vehicles. Rob washed his truck and then his motorcycle. My poor car was not included in the washing today. I stayed inside and made a little blankie (I'll post a picture of it on another post).

The girls decided to get on the action and get their bikes all cleaned up too. (I actually think they wanted to play with the hose.)

The neighbor, Erica, helped them and they even washed her bike too.

She would have loved to get out and help, but she needed a nap.

She wakes up way too early in the am....I think if we

had a rooster she would be waking him

up!ha

This weather felt more like summer to all of us. It will take us a little while longer to get use to all the sun and heat! We loved England and will miss the spring and summers there. I love a warm sunny day, but the south is a little too hot for me. Crazy to say that since we lived in the Southern California desert before we went to England and that was way to hot too:)

Still no news on what our next move will be. We are learning a lot about patience and it seems that the weeks are creeping by while waiting on news from the jobs Rob has applied for. He is on leave and is officially out of the Air Force on March 1.

If you head back up this post and take a closer look, you will see Rob is letting his hair grow....facial hair that is:)

I don't think the girls really like it, but it doesn't bother me.

Valentine's Day post...a little late

Happy Valentine's Day a little late. I was surprised with beautiful roses from all my sweeties. Meghan and Rob headed out on Saturday for a milkshake and came back with the flowers for me.

I think Meghan was the most excited about them.
