Gender Selection...explained by a 6 year old & a blonde moment

Jenna likes to tell everyone they are a sir.  Well, in the car today, Meghan tried to explain some important things to Jenna.  

Conversation as follows:

J- "Meghan, I'm a sir"

M- "no your not, your a girl, so you are a Ma'am"

J- "well I want to be a Sir.."

M-"you can't decide. Mom decided....see after you were born Mom decided she wanted a girl, so she named you a girl name and let your hair grow out."

Meghan's teacher called me today.  Meghan had a blonde moment in school today.  All the kids were getting ready to go outside. The class got a little wild and Ms. S said Meghan was in line waiting to go outside.  She said she looked at Meghan and rubbed her arms (Meghan had a short sleeve shirt on today).  Ms. S then put her coat hood on....which Meghan tried to do, but Meghan realized she didn't have her coat on......Meghan laughed and went into the hall to retrieve her coat:)   Ms. S was trying to get Meghan to figure out on her own she didn't have her coat on to go outside....Meghan finally figured it out:)
